Rear sway bar

Picked up a new to me 1997 F350 CCLB SRW 4x4. Rear end has a sway bar. Thinking about it, I dont recall ever seeing one like that before. Was that a factory option or aftermarket? Axle code on door is C5 if that matters. But I have had C5s before with no swaybar

All mine have factory rear sway bars, and c5 is 4:10's limited slip iirc

I _think_ the swaybar was part of the Ford Factory Tow package. Non stock tow packages didn't have the sway bar.

I'd vote for the camper package if they had that option
then
( pretty sure they did )

i remember doing the order your ford a few years ago and the camper added rear sway along with other stuff
