Several Questions... Mods and Pictures....

Ok so I am in the process of modding. I did a search but still a few questions...

Air intake. No issue here as the Tymar is the winner.

Turbo back 4 inch no cats(I am in Florida). Do I want the muffler? Opinions? Comments?

And Programmer.

Now can anyone show me pics of their install of the switch? Anyone come up with a way to tell which position they are in? (I did see the one on Beans website)

Also is the HX kit or Boost Fooler needed (I thought read where on a OBS you dont need this) ? How hard are this to install?

Muffler is only needed if you want the sound, my 6 pos chip dangles on my dash, most put it under the steering wheel, by the headlight knob, or on far side of wts cluster, you don't need a boost fooler until you get higher numbers of boost, I assume 30+ but I hit that without issue, and I know a few guys who swear by the hpx, I still have no experience on my truck

My switch is held to the left side of my brake controller with a tie wrap. Did this as a temp location but don't see it being moved in the foreseeable future.

I set my tunes in a sequence that make sense to me. Left to right, position 1 to 6: Stock, High idle, Drive thru, Daily hot, Really hot, No run. I never run Really hot as my truck is home stock so I run on Daily most of the time. One click left and I always know where I am at. Daily to Drivethru is obvious, Drivethru to High idle is obvious, High idle to Stock is obvious.

I would skip the muffler and just straight pipe (Personal preference)

For mounting I have it's mounted by my 4x4 switch .. I also use the BDS Switch Plate for $15 I figured it was worth it.

Why don't you like the muffler? Sound? Is it louder or have more throat? I don't have one to hear so I can't go by that.

It's really quiet compared to straight pipe, the turbo alone muffles the sound as is, but with a muffler you also don't get that amazing whistle lol

Straight Pipe front to back. Under heavy accel the exhaust sounds like a gasser big block. Get gauges.

Straight piped (click picture):

Stupid Photobucket! When I click from my phone it opens a new tab and takes me to the mobile photobucket site that requires logins and crap. You have to click "full site" at the bottom and let it load. Don't close the full photobucket tab but go back to the ORG tab with the link above and click again. Then it will open from a iPhone
