Shraeder valve Wrong guage?

I put a fuel preasure guage on the shraeder valve but--- It only shows 12 psi Got the guage at Graingers. Could this be a pressure guage but not a fuel pressure guage or would any pressure guage be ok. TIA

your truck would run like crap a 12 psi unless you might have a FPR going out

I checked the packing list and it says 100 psi pressure guage but does not say fuel pressure guage so I suppose I ordered wrong and have to get a fuel pressure guage. I don`t know if it makes a difference but guess it does. Truck runs good.

fuel or oil pressure the guage is used for the same purpose. reading psi

Try another gauge just to make sure.

Thanks guys, I have another ordered that`s a fuel pressure gauge rather than just pressure gauge. My truck runs too good to have 12 psi the pressure gauge was showing so I sent it back. Will let you know when the new one is installed w/pics.

maybe it was an air pressure gauge you originally got.
