Rear end Question

From what I was told there is 2 differant 10.25 rears. A long pinion gear and a short pinion. How can I tell what I have?

the only two different rear ends of the 10.25 I know of is the full floating and the semi floating axles i have the full floating

You are correct. There are two different pinion lengths. I dont know which one one is long and what one is short.
