every once in a blue moon once a week maybe twice just cruizing it will like cut out then come right back it does this within 2 second. you think it might be a CPS slowly going out.

I don't have a scanner yet so maybe might take it to the parts store to see if anything pops up.

Mine used to do something similar. It would just die for a second and then catch back up. I replaced the CPS and it hasn't done it since.

Did you get your recall CPS yet. If not make an appointment with Ford. It`s free. Just did mine 2 mos ago. I have a 97. Don`t know if 95 was on list but I think it was.

I paid 138.00 for a CPS two yrs. ago but now online they get them for like 20 bucks or so. If it was me I would at least get a spare because you know it will go out while you are 60 miles from a shop. Easy change on road.

Sure sounds like the CPS. Almost identical to what mine did.
