Exhaust/Intake Questions

Does anyone know how much power you gained by just doing a free-flow filter and 4'' straight pipe exhaust. What about added mpg? Also how hard is it to install a 3'' downpipe on a 1997 7.3? Thanks.

If your DP is one piece what i did is cut it in half and took it to a muffler shop and had them spead the top part with there machine and put it in two pieces I also had to bend where the fire wall and floor met (air hammer works great)
97 F350 3'' dp 4'' out

for a OBS you have to have a 2 piece DP a single wont fit. ITs kinda tight but it is pretty easy with 2 guys if possible
