Opinion, Cat, no cat, gutted cat.
This weekend I do my first exaust, FBD turbo back. 3"dp, 4" back, no cat. w/flow thru muff. I`m wondering if because of fed.reg. I should gut the cat and install it in case I wander out west and have a cop look under my truck and cause me to get a heavy fine that I can`t pay therefore set it out for a long time in the local lockup with any friends I may have with me (we go to Vegas sometimes) having to grab a Greyhound outa there. I`ve read several times on this site the cops out there might do that. Some say use a cat delete pipe for this. Then again thats just more work and money. Your opinion on this? Thanks.
