Anyone from SF Bay area?

Hi all, I just sold my 95 F250 ex-cab gasser and I'm looking to jump up to an F350 crew cab PSD. I've got my finger on a 97 in Richmond, CA with 81K miles, 5 speed trans and looks to be a pretty nice truck (at a decent price too). I was wondering if there were any members on here from near there who might be willing to take a look at it for me before I jump into something sight unseen and get bit. If you can help me out, I'll buy you a cold brew or two when I come down to pick it up!

I live in the bay area. And over 2 years ago I found a beauty just like the one you're about to look at. I cant come with you to check it out. But within the 7.3 tech files on this site you'll find useful tips on what to look for.

Here's a couple links to look at and/or print out

What to look for when buying a used 94-98 PSD

Tips - Idea - Hints

The 2nd link also has some cool DIY mods as well if you end up buying it

Hope this helps and good luck in becoming a future OBS stroker! :burnout

Thanks for the links- I've run across them before (I've been doing a lot of research) but have them saved now.
Anyone else? I'd really like to get a good set of eyes on this beast before I drive 7 hours to find out it's a turd.
