Injector work

I took the truck by Turbo and Diesel Injection in Indy today to have a buzz test/diagnostic run on the truck and it came up with nothing as being wrong! The frustrating part is that the truck has a noticeable miss all throughout the RPM range. I decided to take the plunge and I'm going to have the injectors rebuilt by Rosewood. Upon pulling them out, I'm surprised the truck even ran with the amount of crap it has on the nozzles. Also, one of the seals was pretty torn up. I guess the ford diagnostic tool can tell you if you have a chip/tuner and apparently my truck does (which I had no idea since I just bought it), It is nice how it doesn't blow ANY smoke though.

Here are some pics:

I also got some new gauges in today, man are the nice lookin!

the deposits on the nozzles are normal......(for a higher milage truck)....

where the o rings were all torn up...they may be the majority of your problem....

i bet a good rebuild on them and your truck will be running like a champ again though!! Keep us informed!!!
