Turbo rebuild

So while I'm at putting a 3" dp and exhaust on,,thought I'd rebuild the turbo.
Looking at Bean's 1.0 housing ,,and rebuild kit..would this be a "new" turbo?
What would be missing?

Technically no you would not be replacing the shaft compressor wheel and turbine wheel or the compressor housing

If you turbo is shot then I would buy the d66 from beans its a drop in turbo for your truck Money better spent then replacing stock parts.

No not toasted yet,,just plan on doing some PM while I'm back there.
Not planning on chips or other engine mods,,it runs great here at 8000' +..
So just thinking the rebuild kit,and heard the 1.0 housing was a better choice then the current 1.2? housing....

Yeah then thats all I would do. Should help build boost on the low end vs the larger stock housing.
