Talking Finally found the right one! Cherry 1996

I am so pumped about finding this truck. It has 75,000 miles, a one owner California truck. I have never owned a PSD before and am a complete newb, so please bear with my ignorance. It even comes with the original price tag $32,000 and some change.
The good is the condition, the bad, it sat idle for about 3-4 years. I think some gaskets may have dried out and the front end bushings are cracked.

I am looking for some feedback on some things that I should be concerned about being that is was idle for so long. Though the truck was driven about 400 miles about 6 months ago.

The good, excellent paint though not crazy about the color, running boards or the camper shell:

The seats are immaculate and I think the color is Mocha:



The bad, there is some oil right at the bottom of this gold thingy (no idea what it is called) That is the serpentine belt right in front.



My door tag. I believe the C5 means it has 4.10 gears is there other info here that would be good to know?

You have 4.10 and limited slip gears, looks nice, that gold thing is the high pressure oil pump reservoir, clean it off see if it leaks more, check the pass side valve cover make sure if its a Cali model with split shot injectors, should be written in light blue confirming its conformity to Cali smog

Thanks for the reply, is there a gasket for that reservoir? Why would it leak or could the leak be from somewhere else? BTW, I did clean it off and the oil came back. Right now the truck is across state getting a couple of things taken care of.
It was a non-op registration with a power of Attroney signature on the title and I have to go to DMV to get that mess straightened out so I don't have access to anything right now.

Truck looks in excellent shape, hope the title work gets good for you, and my trucks have 300k each, turbo looks the same lol

Lol. Wow. I'm almost scared to ask what you paid for that. Cause either you laid out alot of money, or you stole it... I'm gonna guess that would probably sell for close to $14,000.

The guy was having a hard time selling it because it was non op registration and the power of attorney signed pink slip thing. I got it for under 10k. I still have not been to the DMV yet. That may get ugly. The tire sidewalls are cracked a little. I did talk him down though, he was asking 12k and I paid cash, that stack of green is a big motivator.
