Test Fuel Selector Valve?
Well I've done a good bit of searching around and haven't found much info. I've been installing my e-fuel setup the last few evenings and last night I went to test the pressure and get everything setup, when I cut the pump on, the pressure built to 80+ very fast. I tried adjusting the regulator adjustment stud and it made no difference. Turns out that the return line was not flowing fuel. It is passing fuel from the supply from the front tank, but not returning fuel. Checked the fuse and sure enough, it's blown. Tried changing fuses but it blew every one I put in. Narrowed it down to the FSV. If I unplug it and turn the key to ON, it's fine... no blown fuse or anything. If I plug the FSV up and turn the key to ON, it pops the fuse immediately. For the time being, I plumbed the return from engine into the return to the front tank and unplugged the valve.
I'm thinking that the return valve is stuck between the 2 tanks and the power it's drawing to try to move the valve pops the fuse. What can I do to test it and find out if it's the FSV vs the selector switch vs something somewhere in the wiring?
Also, where is the best place to find a FSV for a reasonable price. I'd prefer not to use a universal one, but if yall know of a good one I would consider it.
Sorry for the long post. Thanks for any help yall can give me.
