Going away for the summer

June 11th I am leaving for basic training and i will be gone for 19 weeks. I have 97 7.3 that will most likely be stored in my parents shed is there anything i need to do to it before i leave

I put my vehicles on blocks and air down the tires. Shove a couple rags and cotton balls soaked in gasoline into the intake to hopefully keep rodents from moving in. Trickle charger on the battery (1 or 2 amp is plenty). I'd also run some fuel additive starting the month before storage just to keep the fuel sweet for a while. Diesel doesn't degrade like gasoline as long as it is in a sealed environment (filler caps tight).

Put dryer sheets under the hood and in the cab, rodents won't eat your wires that way, thanks for joining, what branch you going to btw
