how to get to blower motor
of course its cold here in Pa. and my blower motor for heat and A/C went out. how do i get to it to replace it, where is it. do you guys have step by step how to do it. or is this something i should get a manual for???
its ok now, but when i get up at 3 am to go milk cows its a little cold getting in the truck at 20 degrees. ![]() thanks |

Did it just simply quit blowing? make any noise before it quit? If not check the fuse.

it just stopped. i checked the fuse it is good.
what i would like to know is where is the blower motor located, easiest way to get to it. i suspect it is under the dash, i took a quick look under there and YIKES wires allllllll over the place. |

ok mitchel shows engine compartment on the passenger side at the firewall. Shouldnt be too hard to get to.

if u can get to the plug i would hot wire it just to see if it works

he should be able to do that the plug is in the engine compartment and doesnt look hard to get to at all.

ok thank you guys i got it in, with a little elbow grease. next problem it is till doing the same thing, just letting a little heat in through the vents. is it the resistor?? if so how do i get my hands on a resistor??? i tried a couple of diffferent auto parts stores and they dont carry them. is it a dealership item???
