A/C issues

Okay fellas, my dad is having A/C issues on his '94 7.3 powerstroke. The a/c blows, the air just isn't cool. I checked the free-on with the guage and it seemed low, so i put some in and still nothing. i noticed that every time the a/c compressor would kick on, the guage would drop rise accordingly. It also looks like there is a leak on the low pressure port around some fittings right after. Can yall tell me what I part I am looking at? Any idea what i need to replace, and how much it would cost, and difficulty?

Any info would be helpful, i cant have my old man driving around without any cold air!

Thank you

Your dust cap is missing off the one connecter in the first picture so good chance it's leaking through that valve. Also it could be any o-ring in the line, your best bet would be to bring it to a shop and have them do a die leak detection test on it
