First DP Mod, Question

I am about to do a 3' dp cat/muff delete for my 97 psd. Some say I need to remove the oil dipstick pipe. I can`t see down enough to see how it is mounted. I`m wondering if it screws out or bolted on. Thanks guys. Great site.

What kind of cut did you make? I`ll be using a sawzall. Did you saw coming up at an angle, straight across? Down at an angle? Did you have to mod the firewall? Thanks.
