Power Steering flush

...is this necessary on a 97?
I watched a YouTube video of a fellow doing this to improve his steering and braking, but none of his components looked familiar when I opened the hood...

what was he doing it on? if his braking is connected to the power steering, or yours is, that is hydroboost, majority of us have vacuum brake booster

I believe I also have the vacuum booster...nothing on my steering/braking system looks like his, suggesting he has a later model.

Edit:
...and now that you mention "HydroBoost", this makes sense...my question is answered.

Wonderful...thanks for the responses.
My buddy has a DMax and was going on and on about what a difference it made to his steering/braking so I looked it up.
Apparently, there's nothing I can do along those lines.
