exaust brake

has anyone heard of useing exaust back pressure valve as exaust brake and if so results and how to do it. ihave 97 f350 with aftermarket intercooler and downpipe.

I am using mine as a brake and it works pretty well. There is a write up in the 7.3 teck section.

is yours auto or standard articile does nt give real good info for what wire on auto. printed a wireing diagram looks like tranny wire for tourqe converter needs a ground signal not 12v. let me know what you did.
