few questions about a new truck

I am thinking about selling my 1996 F250 and picking up this 1995 F350 Dually for sale at a local car lot listed for sale for $9800.

Here is a link to the truck and quick rundown of the specs on it:

Netlook Auto Detail

1995 F350 Powerstroke, 5 Spd, 115K miles

I am going to look at the truck today and go for a test drive.

I'm not sure what the rear end ratio is on the truck. My F250 has 3.55's and with normal driving I average about 20.1 MPG. I am assuming the dually will be similar, probably a little less with 3.55's. How much worse will my mileage be if the truck has 4.10 gears?

Also, what is the best way to check the history of the truck? I have heard people talk about OASIS reports and some other reports, but never really knew where to get these?

Any other opinions on the truck just from checking out the pictures? If the truck looks good, my 1996 will be for sale in the very near future.

Sorry for the long post - Thanks for your help.

truck looks great, if you spend much time on the highway it will probably be about 12-16 depending on driving style if it has 4.10s and unless you have a load you never need to use 1st gear w/ 4.10s

So I went and drove the dually yesterday. It is a very nice truck inside and out. The only problems I was able to find were a busted ignition switch and the fuel tank selector switch is loose in the dash. Otherwise, the truck is looks awesome. I did detect a very faint, almost couldn't notice it, throwout bearing buzz, but the truck does have a new clutch master/slave just installed.

Everything under the hood looked identical to my 1996 except for the radiator and coolant overflow tanks.

Is there a difference between 1995 and 1996? My 1996 doesn't have a radiator cap and you add coolant in through the reservoir.

The 1995 dually has a radiator cap and an overflow bottle. Is there a difference between these 2 years, or has one of the trucks had a new radiator installed?
