What next?

Seems I cant just have one problem....

Went to do some erronds today, jumped in the truck...and no start. After cursing a bit, turned the key again, and she started up. Driving down the road, keeping my eye on the trans temp gauge, noticed within 10 miles it had jumped up to 150. It has only been getting around 120. While sitting at a red light, I also noticed a "rattling" sound coming through the exhaust. No, the exhaust mounting is not loose. Its a 3"dp, into 4" straight pipe, for about 4-5'. It stops rifght past the front of the bed. The trucks not running any different.....just aggravating me right now. Wouldnt be surprised to walk out in the morrning, to find all tires flat...
