Made in Canada

I just recently bought a 97 four door......It was assembled in canada....i've noticed a few differences already.......such as engine parts and daytime headlamps.......anybody else run into this?

Are you finding that its harder to get parts for? Like, the parts are different, and so you have to get them in canada? Very interesting.

no not really, more so figuring out the right parts. not that they have to come out of canada, but that there is some different parts configurations.

Canadian EH !

Well I am from Canada , used to work for Dana , your truck was no doubt built in Oakville Ontario about 50 miles south of Toronto. 24 years ago when I was living up there in the great white north the way it was , for us Canadians to get American contracts we had to build them better for less its that simple
Be glad it was not from Mexico

Thanks for the info lawn guy. It does indeed seem to be a very well built truck and i'm damn greatfull that it wasn't built in mexico.
