Injectors and HPOP

Hi, I was just wondering how many miles stock injectors and HPOP usually go for on 94-97 7.3's before needing to be replaced. Does anybody know?

Depends upon a ton of variables.

How often you change you oil, the quality of your oil/fuel, how you run your truck, does your truck idle excessively, etc...

The truck has 180,000 miles on it. It was completely stock until about 130,000 when I installed a chip. The oil has been changed religiously every 3,000 miles with shell rotella 15w40. Almost all of the miles on the truck are highway miles and the most it has ever pulled is a 3,500 pound boat. So it has had a pretty easy life as a highway commuter. I am at 263,000 with all those stock, I would guess you will be fine till at least 300,000 with what you have been using it for.

I pull a 35ft travel trailer, 12000 lbs, at 70 mph, one guy told me I shouldn`t drive that fast with that much weight but my truck should handle that shouldn`t it? I am not rough with it just don`t like 60 he recommends. What say you? Thanks in advance.

Thanks afbluesv1k, good to know. Have you ever done the o-rings on the injectors or any kind of maintainence like that?

Money not beening a factor I and going to put stage 2 injectors in my 96 I was wondering which is the best dual hpops or one big single pump? I want the most oil that I can get. I have hear that orings in the motor blow out after you install big oil is this true and if so how do you fix it?
