Minimum load rating I would want for my truck

I have a 97 3/4 ton without duals. I am getting ready to buy tires. I am running 265/75/R16 firestone transforce at's and i know I want an E rating but what about the actual pounds. Any suggestions

My goodyear at/d2's are e rated to 3315 or 3350. I wouldn't go with anything lower than E ratings, but you'll see D ratings on the superduty's all the time. Even the BFG all terrain's I had were E rated.

Mine are D rated and hold 50 psi but are rated at over 3000 pounds each. I guess it depends on how heavy your going to load your truck. I had trouble finding large tires rated for more than class C.
