Sandblasted turbo.

97 obs 7.3 psd. When I inspected my turbo it was tight, spins freely but had a sort of sandblast look to the verticle edges of each blade, not the whole blade just the edges. Anything to worry about? Also I can`t hear the turbo at all. Shouldn`t I be able to hear it at least a little bit after I just did a Tymar intake mod. and ccv mod. and bb mod. today. The rest is stock. Next week I get a 3" downpipe (I`m told you can`t put a 4" dp on the 97 obs) 4" exaust 5" rolled tip w/ cat and muff delete. I`m told I will def. get the turbo whistling then but I`m not sure. All opinions will be appreciated.

Alabama in that pic what is it that you really cant see in the pic when your looking for dusting. Discoloration flat edges on fins just curious.Besides the normal play in the turbo. Thanks

The corners of the fins are not square like they should be, they are eat up and rounded over.
