Trying to do a ccv mod but got stumped.

97 F-350 7.3 psd After I got the stock hose off from the turbo on the valve cover there is a little box about 7" long and 2" high that has a about a 3" 3/4 hose that curves up and goes from that little box to the stock turbo hose I took off. So do I leave the little box on the valve cover and attach a 3/4 hose that will lead to the back of the front wheel or do I remove the box from the valve cover. It has two screws on the top of the box. I will wait for a reply before I go any farther. Thanks guys.

That little box you're talking about is commonly called a "dog house because of its shape. It's better to take it off and turn it around backwards so that your hose will be close to the firewall, plus it wont be in the way of your intake tube
