Sending unit issues ....

I filled up the '95 after purchasing it from the OG owner.

During our 3 hr trip home towing the Cherokee we drove in, I notice the front tank fuel level dropped to "E" very quickly. In fact, its peged in the "E" and I'm still driving on same tank.

Didnt seem to go all the way to "F" either ...

Anyway, the bed is coming off this weekend to clean up the frame, and was wondering if a float adjustment would solve my problem ??

the floats can develop pin holes in them and fill with fuel. then they don't go all the way to F and can drop very quickly if they move at all. the float is available from ford by itself for <$20 last time i bought one
