Torque converter manual lock
Thinking of installing in a torque converter manual lock switch.
Question is, is it a bad idea to manually lock the torque converter when the tranny is still cold? |

Got the directions in hand, thanks.
Just need to know if it's bad for the tranny to lock-up the converter before the tranny has warmed up. For example in cold weather start up the first few miles of driving, before the torque convertor locks up on its own. Last edited by towmysho; 01-31-2008 at 08:36 AM. |

OK, got a question. are you supposed to cut the purple/yellow wire and hook it to the grounding switch, or splice into the purple/yellow wire without cutting it?

splice ill post a pic of mine
the computer still needs to let it slip splicing it will allow your switch to ground it out to lock at any speed any gear if you lock it while stopped it is like dumping the clutch on a manual it will stall if that dosent happen you didnt do something right
