steering

on my 1996 f350 i noticed that the steering wheel isnt striaght with the tires its off some. I was wondering where do i start to look. would it be balljoints or steering gear box ? its the older boystyle..single rear wheels also.thanks

I'd take it to an allignment shop. If they can't adjust it out then you know you have other problems and go from there.

Ditto. A good alignment shop will diagnose the problems and not even charge you for an alignment. That's how I found my bad ball joints.
