Replacing Water Pump- What other stuff should I look to replace?

I am replacing the water pump this weekend and was curious what else I should change while in there.

So far, I have picked up:

Water Pump w/ Lifetime Warranty
Thermostat

I would like to replace all hoses and other parts while in there, including swapping over to different coolant and adding a coolant filter. However, I am in a rural area and need some part numbers so I can order everything in. We do have a NAPA, but that is it. Many times, they have to order it in as well.

Any part numbers or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Replace the water outlet (thermostat housing) while your at it otherwise your almost guarenteed to have a leak there. they are cheap only like 28 dollars. i have a autozone p/n for it if that helps its 815001also check if there is front to back play in the fan clutch if its much more than 1/8 to a1/4" id replace it.

now is a good time to replace your belt... look into a diesel site 203 degree thermostat and housing. if u do not want to replace the neck of the pump call complete performace.... cptrucks.com... and they have a metal ring that bolts down to solve the isse of sealing problems. be aware that elc coolant is not recomended in obs trucks as the injector cups are made out of a different material then the later superduty trucks. once they are replaced its not an issue. so i would do a flush with distilled water, add a good grade diesel coolant and add 2 bottles of SCA additive. Sorry no part number.

I have yet to see any hard evidence that ELC cannot be used in OBS trucks. I've been using it in mine for years and haven't had an issue yet.
