MOD questions for my 97 F-250 PSD

I'm pretty new to the site but i've been reading alot about all the different mods for PSD's. My question is, are most of these mods for the newer 99 & up PSD's or can i do theese to my OBS? Right now it is completely stock except for the Edge Evolution that i got off E-Bay for $200. I'm getting ready to add gauges and upgrade the exhaust. What other DIY mods can i do on my OBS PSD. I like the 46637 filter mod, can i do it to mine, K&N is too damn pricey for me.

DIY filter wroks good on all 7.3s, K&N can leak dust and ruin the engine and its pricy but I wouldn't used one if they paid me to. I'm not familiar with the OBS but I think most of the newer 7.3 mods work good on the older ones too.
