Coolant Filter Mod.

I saw mod. on a powerstroke site, I cant remember which one but it involved a coolant filter getting added to a 7.3 Anyone seen this done, have pics., or know what Im talkin about.

yup, talk to shawn at performance oil products, got mine from him. definitley worth doing, lots of crap floatin around in there!!

on my 6.0 I used a Baldwin B5134 filter and CFB5000 filter base. Teed off the coolant line running to the heater and used a 1/4" line to the filter base and then 1/4" line back to the degas bottle.

I've done this mod on my 6.0. Once I get my rig back from the shop, goin to pull the filter this weekend and see what it looks like. Been on about month now.

I believe it was around 85 for the kit. PM Performance Oil Products and he can give you a price with shipping and extra filters if ya want them.
