I did 460 to 6.9 then to 95 7.3 PSD. 460 has the same bell housing casting as a 7.3 but it's drilled different so you will need a trans, also you need the mounts and towers for 7.3. Other than that it will bolt right in for you. Now the fuel tank and lines can be converted over, in 95 the 460 has a pump in the tank and the 7.3 has a mechanical pump on top of the motor. If it's duel tank the switch valve for gas won't work.
You will need the PCM and IDM to go with the 7.3 and the under hood loom would be best. You may need the gage cluster for the tac if you don't have one. The diesel lights in the dash would be good but it will run with out it, it's the only thing I cant get to work on mine.
