Overhead Shelf/Console?

Hey fellas. Driving along today in the tow truck, I'm observing all the crap I have in there, and I realize how much of a PITA it is to have so much stuff. I realized I would really like to have some kind of overhead storage unit that spans the width of the cab - like the 18 wheelers so I can put my log books, "off" mosquito spray, first aid kit, alcohol wipes, CB radio, police radio....things like that inside to try to stay more organized.

I started searching online, and apparently a few years back the "steel horse" overhead shelf was really popular, but I don't think they're produced anymore. I saw a couple overhead shelves in JC whiteny, but I'm wondering what else might available? Do any of you fellas have an overhead unit? Which ones do you have? I did try searching the forums but didn't find anything.

Well all I can find is the "shelf it" and that visor caddy that I linked to. Have you ever found anything different? Maybe I would something else you have found?

I used to build my own back in the 70's for my Vans, not hard if you can handle a skill saw, jigsaw and drill. Some L brackets,1/4 in. paneling a little carpet padding, some leather -vinyl covering and you have one.
