There the one that no one wants so I should look for a Dana 60 for a swap
I didn't know they had leaf springs I thought it was ifs

Fixed it for you.

It's similar to the d44 ttb you would find on 150's and bronco's but uses leaf springs. Might have been a decent option if Ford went with coils but they used leaf springs and due to the pivot of the axle from the cross member, they had to use extra heavy leafs to withstand the twisting effect. The end result is springs that don't give and have nearly no travel. Defiantly stay clear of that axle and try to find yourself a D60.

It is ifs, just on leafs, rides like a tank, ditch it and go d60
