Rear Springs

in the back on my truck I have f code springs can anybody tell me the wieght of these springs?

I drive my truck unloaded most of the time, and when I do tow it is a 18 ft. open car trailer with a 4,000 lb truck, anyway these thing is real stiff and I was wondering if I could covert the springs to f-250 or 350 srw springs with a lower sring rate to achieve a smoother ride?

Thanks,

DEVLYN

How many leaves do you have? The vin sticker should tell the rear spring rating. I have a 250 and SRW 350 I can check today. They look alike other than the 350 has an overload spring and the 250 doesn't. I'll see what the weight is, though.

The 250 has 4 leaves and rear is rated at 6084 lbs. My 350 that used to be SRW has 4 leaves plus an overload and is also rated at 6084. That probably doesn't help anything does it?

How low are you going and what are you using on the front?
