Ford AIS Lowers EGT's?
My cousin just installed an AIS on his 2000 PSD this weekend. He told me that prior to installing it, he would normally have to wait 3 to 5 minutes after driving to get his EGT down to 300 to 350 prior to shutting it off. After the install, it's taking about 2 minutes and they are at 200 to 225. I installed my AIS before I got gauges so I don't know what the EGT was before, but mine only takes about 2 minutes to cool down to around 200. Anyone else with the AIS noticed this?

i can see how it could be true since your basically sitting waiting for the EGT's to come down and it does flow a lil more colder air than the stocker.....

I had a tymar setup before I moved to AIS. I didn't notice any real difference.
