Should I worry about this?

Ill try to make as simple as I can.

Very large amount of oil consumption lately. No visible leaks. No white or black smoke. Previous post everyone told me I need new injector O-rings. Which is slated for early summer.

But should I worry about the low pressure oil guage? Lower than normal. Pretty consistent. Would I see a rise with new o-rings? Or does this mean low pressure pump going too? Been this way for few thousand miles. Just recently dipping lower it seems. Really low end on startup. Thanks guys!!!

I would change the injector o-rings sooner than later. You can very easily become stranded as oil consumption can get worse (when mine failed I used 8 quarts in 150 miles). Also, depending on the failure, it can also cause a no-start. The factory oil pressure gauge is really nothing more than a glorified idiot light. The sender is nothing more than a switch that is either ON or OFF at some threshold pressure value (around 6 psi I think). Anything above that and it is supposed to read mid-scale. If you want pull the wire to the switch (on top of the HPOP reservoir) and ground it. The gauge should read mid-scale. Cheers!
