Truck Dead

Went out to start the truck, turn the key on everything was normal. Went to crank it turn over then nothing. all fuses are good, the relay for the IDM is clicking,no head lights, installed gauges not working,(unpluged them) the wait to start, abs and so on are very dimm. was thinking wiring harness under valve cover shorted out glow plug selonid shorted out maybe starter shorted.

Anymore ideas would be great. Truck is 14 miles away in a secure area.

Thanks

The batteries are good? Also check fuse 22 in the power distribution box in the engine compartment. If its burnt then you probobly have the fuel heater element shorting out in your fuel bowl.

Hmm I guess start with the basics and make sure your connections are all good first. Almost sounds like there is a bad ground. Does the light dim as you crank or while you just cycle the key to the wait to start?
