Question Low Boost on Edge Insight?

So I just installed a Edge Insight CTS. Awesome unit, can't believe hoe many parameters it reads off the obs...even manual tranny fluid temp! Anyway, the boost numbers its giving me make no sense. I took it out and got on it a bit-rmps up toward 3000 and the turbo was singing loud (for a stock one) but the gauge only hit 8psi max! I can feel the boost, hear it, so what gives? I have basically a stock set up except a AFE drop-in and a 3"dp to 4" exhaust. Is this a sensor issue or could my boost really be that low? It feels and sounds like it should be much higher, based on other rigs I've been in...

Ideas?

Thanks

It's reading of the map sensor, get the EAS pressure sensor and tap your intake y as it come out of the turbo and you will get an accurate reading, you won't see much more boost stock, but it will be accurate
