body style question

Ok I have a 97 f 350 xlt crew cab. Why is it all the 97 f 350 exterior parts I'm looking at are not right? it's the 96 parts that fit it?

And is there a good place to go to find interior and exterior after market parts?

One of the things I'm looking for is after market fuel doors. Just somthing different from the stock ones, if there is such a thing

92-97 parts will fit... where ever your buying your parts from is probly sending you 97+ light duty f250 parts. they look just like the 97-03 f150's

Tell them that you have a 1996 from now on and they can't screw it up since both the body styles were the same that year.

ok so there are no differences between a 96 and a 97? Does that go the same for the mechanical side too?
