7.3 OBS Straight piped?

I have a 95 PSD with a 3.5" DP to a 4" exhaust "5 tip, Not sure what brand it is, since it was on the truck when I bought it a few months ago. I am looking for some advice or experience, who has straight piped their truck? I am not really looking for performance gains, I just wonder how much more of a turbo noise which would be a plus would I get out of it?

Mine is straight piped. No Cat No muffler. You can hear the turbo over the engine now which sounds cool and if your flooring it you will get the best of both world but as soon as you let off the throttle you get the coolest turbo shwew ever. Loud as can be

I didnt have a EGT Guage but by the Hand over the pipe test. Alot, I had my chip on my truck for 30 minutes before I cut that Exhaust off. Now I got the EGT guage and if Im gently city driving is 450 degrees, Driving it like I stole it City driving is about 600 degree, Cruising at 80 on the highway flat 600 degree, going up a grade at 80 on the highway it climbs to 1000 to 1150 depending on how long and how steep the grade. With straight pipe!

Hope this helps alittle
