quick question
Just a quick question, does any one know if a 1997 F350 would have keyless entry installed on it ? I bought it used and it didn't come with the clicker thing so i was wondering if it had it installed and the guy just lost them or if there isn't one installed. Or is there a way i can check other then buying a new clicker from ford for $45 and trying to program it?
Thanks. |

Put the key in the ignition and cycle it 7 times (I think, maybe 8). If it has factory keyless installed, the door locks should either lock or unlock (don't remember which).

You can add a factory FOB system even if yours never had it from the factory as long as you have power door locks.... |

I read that you can take the panel off below the stearing column and above the throttle pedal should be the module for the keyless entry. Is there any other way to find out if you have keyless entry or is this just about the only way to do it with an obs truck?
