School me on the auto trans.

Could any body tell me what I have or may be tell me how to figure it out my self. I have a 97 F-250, 7.3, 4x4. No real mods yet, A chip in the future, maybe impeller for the turbo and injectors. What modal trans should I be concerned with and what do I do about it?

I dont have one either elmo lol whoops but like you said i baby my truck today to work and back didnt get it over 2000RPMS and its got 4:10's lol 55 whole way to work and back lol

Like they said, valve body, possibly TC depending on what you wanna do, a bigger cooler, and I'd say an external spin on filter too.
