95 Auto Trans.
Hey I have a 95F250
i Just Bought it yesterday, i was wondering how much the trans can take before i have to even consider rebuilding it.? (if thats an option)The Truck only Has 45,000 miles on it so the trans is good and strong, but im worried about it because its auto. I was thinking like downpipe, smoke stacks, chip, tires, and intake. for now... Im new to Diesels, So Help is Much Appreciated. ![]() Thanks, Christian Also I was thinking about getting it painted Black w/blue (because it has blue interior) If anyone has a black w/blue paint job a picture would be great so i can see how it looks.

I would stay under 50 horse over stock, that should be plenty safe. Look for chips that address your trans when you get one. Add a trans temp gage and some extra cooling if you want much more than the 50, even good stuff to have no matter what power you run.
Now, how the heck did you find one with just 45K on it? Sounds very light to me. |

Thats a good deal. I watched 2 ebay auctions of 90's PSD's with just over 100K on them (just pull-outs) and both went over 3 grand. It's gonna have a ton of idle time on it but that is as good as it is bad for it. If they did good service on it you are a Lucky guy.
