How hard is it to fix/install a GPR?

and what else should I check for, given the problems?

Huh, I could swear when I looked at that ad it said there was NO GPR...

A gpr can be bought for about $30 at any parts store along with the starter. I'd buy both, take $1500 cash, get the title.... Swap the gpr, ten minutes max, put in the starter another 20 minute job, max, jump it and get a buddy to drive it home.

Better grab a new CPS at the parts store too, just in case.

Yeah that's exactly what I would do too, even if you have to tow it it should sell as a running truck even better, buy it and don't look back
