Which oil synthetic or non synthetic?

What oil do all of you use. I used Rotella 15W40 for a long time then I switched to Rotella 5W40 synthetic. I am thinking about switching to Amsoil 15W40 synthetic.

Once you've used a synthetic 5W40 you will never go back! I was a Rotella user until I recently switched to Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme 5W40. It cost about the same as Amsoil and tests out about the same but I can get it locally. You can't go wrong with the Synthetic.

I use Shell Rotella 15w40. It's the only oil I have ever used in a diesel (IDI or powerstroke). I saw the blue jug rotella (synthetic) last weekend for 16-17 bucks a gallon. I thought about trying it, but I don't know. I'm still on the fence.

To make it worth the bucks you need a bypass filter kit so the change interval can be extended and not kill the motor. With no bypass filter synthetic must be changed just like non synthetic so your just wasting money the way I see it. True, full synthetic has a longer life but it holds particulates in it the same as non synthetic witch is the mane factor in change intervals, ya got to get the crud out of it somehow.
