New PSD owner, have some questions!

Hello everyone, my wife and I recenty purchased a '96 F-250 PSD. Got it for nothing more than a song and a dance either.... $3200 It does need a good deal of work though, and has a dent in the passenger rear fender the size of colorado

Anyways! On to the questions:

1. Gauges: Im looking for a 3-gauge "kit" for my truck. Ive seen a few online outlets offer ones for the 99+ trucks, but not ours. Are there any available, or will I have to peice my own kit together? Also, are there any steering column mount pods that fit our trucks?

2. Downpipe: We just moved out of state, and currently live in an apartment, so I dont have the shop/garage at my disposal as I did a few months ago. Is installing an aftermarket downpipe a quick install? Is it simply a bolt in, or will I have to jack the motor up or anything to get it in? All I want is a nice 3"

Thanks for any help

The guages are available. Most places have them, they just don't advertise for our years. I got my auto meter three guage system w/ the a-pillar mount for $229 from RPM Outlet on the net. I'm sure some of our great sponsors on this forum can do just as good.
As far as the 3" downpipe, get a big pry bar. You will need to move the firewall back a bit. If you look at your stock downpipe, it is very flat there. You just need to make some room. Also, you will probably have to cut your stock downpipe out with a saws-all or torches. Hope this helps.
