Chip or Prog for OBS

I have a '96 with Intercooler, Banks trans Command, and Banks chip (whatever its called) I'm looking to upgrade to a better chip/or prog, what is best for these OBS, would a chip(like 6 pos switch) from TS or TW work best or is a programer better then what I have now? Edge or something ok??

Thats what I have been hearing, I was leaning towards that, but not sure how to go about install and what you have to do. I'm not even sure where to check to see if I have a banks chip

You have to pull the CPU out. You may be able to see the back side of the CPU behind the parking brake, but it will be difficult.
