I guess i'm going to take my truck and let the dealership tell me it needs new injectors new pump and no telling what else . 210k and the housing had a hole in it a buddy of mine took it off and we welded the hole replaced the heater sensor. I had so much crud in the bottom of the housing I caan't believe I never had a problem until we took the housing off . What do you think the ford folks will get me for?

It will be expensive. You could rebuild them yourself to save a few dollars, or buy reman units. Swapping the injectors is not hard.

Ford sell injectors for $289-305 so $2,400 for just injectors before labor.
You would be better off doing it yourself or finding someone to do it for you. Good prices can be had. I recommend vendors on the .org. PowerStroke 7.3 Injectors |

Rosewood diesel sells the rebuild kits cheap and it can be done if you got the time and patience.

Kent,
It is not a bad project to swap injectors yourself, if you have some basic mechanical skills and basic mech. tools. For reference, I can get you a complete set of 8 brand NEW injectors for $1650 shipped to you, I just need your injectors back for cores. Or, as mentioned, you could overhaul them yourself, if you have the time and desire. Or, I can overhaul them for you. Email or call me if I can help in any way.
