steering column ?s

hey guys i have a ? i have a 94.5 f350 cclb drw 5spd and i need a new steering column problem is i cant find any for a 5spd in florida at junkyards so i was wondering if i could use an automatic column and just get rid of the shift lever and bar i wouldnt think there is much of a difference

I would think so. I'm guessing the mounting points are the same. And I know for a fact its easy to disconnect and remove the auto shift lever. If you have your plastic trim pieces though, maybe keep and use them so you don't have a big hole where the auto shift lever normally would be. Someone else might know for sure, but heres a bump for your thread in the meantime.
